The Shinobi focuses on stealth, extreme mobility, and melee combat, allowing you to outpace your targets in relative secrecy and with the touch of a subtle hand pull off nuanced ambushes before the enemy even knows what’s coming. These tweaks are meant to add to the overall flow of the game while simultaneously filling out the tactical roster to fit your needs. To that end, the Perk Pack adds over 70 new or somewhat tweaked abilities to the main game, while overhauling the base game’s classes and adding three more soldier archetypes to the fray. The Long War Perk Pack is meant to add an almost ridiculously large amount of content to the character development available in the base game, making it possible to create an even more diverse team of soldiers to push back the alien horde. They’re the kind of mods that make your fingers itch and twitch to step back into the XCOM world with a new set of toys and a whole new way to dominate your enemies. The latest mods to drop from that partnership are themed around making your soldiers oodles more powerful and infinitely more customizable by overhauling and expanding on XCOM 2‘s perk and class system, while also adding a whole new weapon tier based off of hard hitting laser technology to roast enemies one atom at a time.
